An Honest Note About This Bookshop
My Bookshop
This page is, quite honestly, a small experiment in affiliate marketing, but it is also a way for me to rebuild a more joyful relationship with reading. After years of reading primarily for school and work, I stopped reading for pleasure. I still love books, though, and my ever-growing TBR suggests that the curiosity hasn’t gone anywhere. These lists include books I’m currently reading, books I’ve finished, and many more I genuinely hope to get to someday. Keeping them here gives me a place to follow my interests and, perhaps, a little encouragement to keep turning the pages.
I chose Bookshop.org to support independent booksellers. Some of the links on this page are affiliate links, which means I may receive a small commission when someone purchases a book through them. So, should something on one of my lists catch your attention, your purchase would support independent bookstores and help me slowly chip away at my student loans. I would sincerely appreciate both.
What's on My Nightstand (2026)
My 2026 reading journey is a year of reading for the joy of it. I'm rediscovering popular science and pairing books with similar themes to read simultaneously. I am also continuing to develop my Italian language skills through Italian literature. My goal this year: fall in love with reading again and delight in authors' ideas without feeling like I have to critically analyze or dissect them.
